Messages in the Aura
The aura is the energy field that surrounds the body. Who we are, what we are, what's going on with us, where we've been, where we're going - all this registers in this energy field. This energy field is similiar to the television screen. The image may be on the screen (our body), but there is light emanating from the screen. That emanating light - the glow - is like our energy field. We look at the TV picture to see what's going on, yet color and light are emitted from the screen and can be seen as well.
I hear people say, "I can't see auras." Yet in my Dream Quest workshop, I teach people to see them. We all can. Some can see them more easily than others, but the capacity for viewing them is there for anyone with sight. (As a matter of fact, some blind people experience "seeing" people's auras!) The brain believes it cannot see auras, so auras are not registered into our senses. Once I show people HOW to see auras, they can see them. They can see them with increased ease according to how much time and attention they invest in viewing the aura.
Sometimes we have to trick the brain into seeing auras by looking someplace other than the person's aura. The rods and cones inside the eye, our receptors, have been trained to relay only the information they receive from tangible items like books or trees, etc. When we activate the rods and cones on the periferal vision area, they haven't been so programmed and are able to pick up the energy information and report it to the brain. Then the blocks to seeing are removed.
Often we are programmed to "seeing is believing" to the extent that we cannot see what we don't believe - even if it is there! I've been teaching Dream Quest for over 15 years with several workshops per year - hundreds of students. In that time frame I've never had a single student say they could not see an aura. I've had some for whom it was more difficult - usually those that were analytical. Some were able to see one person's aura but not another without practice. Yet, every single person saw an aura. Once we discover the aura, we can then see blocks, pain, illness or past life residue. Past life residue looks like crowns or robes or amulets floating in a person's energy field. These may be hinderances to their current life. For example, crowns can cause headaches. Crowns indicate that a person wielded life or death authority over others. If a person is still attempting to claim that power inappropriately, they can have headaches. Or headaches can derive from a person who is burdened with that past power they no longer want. Reaching into the aura we can dislodge those things and assist the person in releasing them. Some illnesses clear up after the aura is cleared. Knowing what's in the aura is important!
Every year, for the last 10 years or so, I make a point of getting an aura picture done. It shows my progress, what I'm working on, my general health, and other issues. When I was very ill, my aura was muddy brown and dull looking. Normally, my aura is yellow and orange with some blue/green. When I'm tuned into the Ancient Ones (a channelled group of ascended beings that speak to the heart in order to assist human kind on the journey called life) my aura is an interesting mix of blues and greens and yellows. Here is an aura picture when I'm "tuned in" to the Ancient Ones. (Okay, so it's not the greatest picture of me.)

Once, while I was focusing my attention on my aura, the ink shifted and little pictures appeared. I've noticed the same thing happening as I read other people's aura pictures. As I put my focus on the picture, images and shapes begin to appear. Just as person's real aura reveals blocks, pain, and past life residue, an aura photo will reveal objects and images. When the ink is still fresh, it happens faster and clearer than when the picture has had time to set. Although, even a 'set' aura picture can shift to reveal images and shapes. Images like spirit animals show up, or symbolic shapes like crystals or numbers or even the faces of our guides and angels show up. How cool is that!
On July 9th, Jeannie Butler is bringing her Aura Photo equipment to the Divine Fellowship to take pictures and I'll be on hand to focus on the pictures. Jeanne charges $20 for the photo and my fee for focusing will be only $5. If you are going to be in the area and would like an appointment, please call me at (509) 946-8656 or e-mail me at janice@janicelynch.com.
In my next newsletter, I hope to share other's aura photos. I'll identify the objects that appear in those auras. Should be interesting! Stay tuned for next month's issue.
The Ancient Ones
The Ancient Ones is a group of ascended beings that communicate through me. This group of ascended beings is just amazing. I don't have any idea how many of them are there for any particular session. I do know that when one of the Ancient Ones feels another has more expertise in a certain area, they will step aside and allow a new being to address the issue.
I often do this in groups. People tell me that my pattern of speech will change with each being that joins us and sometimes my face appears to be different as well. My eyes are closed, and I am in a quite deep meditative state during a session. I do have a sense of different personalities coming through. Some beings seem to be more soft and tender while others are more animated and dynamic while others yet are more thoughtful and analyticaal. Some people have told me that the Ancient Ones speak directly to their heart. They cut right through the "stuff" and speak directly to each person's inner knowing.
The first time I experienced the Ancient Ones, I was stunned. I was doing a session and all of a sudden, the air in the room shifted. It became still and calm. I recited a poem easily and in a way that was very unlike myself. I looked at my client and asked, "What was that all about!" We backed up the tape to listen to it again. The tape was blank. There was talking up to that point and my statement of "What was that all about!" was on the tape, but the poem wasn't. We felt really disappointed for just a moment and then the poem "came through" again! This time the client wrote it down! We checked the tape and it did register the second time. In a later session a client asked who was speaking and they identified themselves as The Ancient Ones.
Here is something the Ancient Ones would like me to share with you now.
"Dear One, we are honored to speak with you at this time. Know that your journey unfolds for you as we enfold you in our awareness. We know you and care for you. If you are reading this message, you have had a sense of us as well. Perhaps you passed it off as an odd feeling or simply being out of phase, yet we were with you then. You have a sense of this, do you not? "Many challenges have confronted you of late. True? These challenges merely remind you that you are not alone. For if they were not challenges, you would face them without stopping to consider that there is more to life than earning a living, or earning the praise of another, or earning the freedoms you crave. We walk with you even when you are unaware, Dear One. "All of human kind is being challenged at this point in time. Challenged to do the next right thing and to be aware. Oh, if only you were aware even more deeply than you are. Yet, life seduces you into thinking that this is all there is. Your busy life keeps you believing in the falseness of hurry. Hurry drains your life force. Hurry eliminates awareness. Hurry defeats awakening. Yet hurry you do. Such an attempt to admit one more element into your life. One more phone call. One more TV program. One more chapter. One more affair. One more drink. One more cookie. One more tale carried on. To what end, Dear One? To what end? "We will tell you to what end - to hide out from your true self. Your true self lurks within waiting for you to acknowledge it. You have, to some extent and then stiffle it once again with hurry. So much is expected of you, you feel. It is true. Much is expected of you. So much is demanded of you, you feel. It is true. Much is demanded of you. Yet much is too much. Only you can say "when" - when the cup is full, the day is finished, the taste is satisfied, the paycheck sufficient. Yet, humanity's "when" sensor is broken. There never seems to be enough. There never seeming to be enough merely relates to one's thinking that they are not enough. When one feels as if one must do more, achieve more, have more, it is because they feel as if they are not enough. When each person begins to understand their own worth and the fulfillment of that worth, they begin to recognize that they, indeed, are enough. "You are enough, Dear One. 'Enough of what?' You ask. Enough of life force and intent and will to accomplish anything that is in your heart to accomplish. Perhaps not all that is in your head to accomplish, but all that is in your heart to accomplish. "The mind transforms the weary traveler into a determined sojourner. Yet the mind cannot sustain a person on a journey that their heart has not chosen. Expecting one's self to behave according to your will isn't enough. The will, the intent, is the driving force that carries the heart. Yet, without permission and direction from the heart, the will merely drives one into the ground. The heart will rebel. The heart must! It is it's purpose to guide and direct your steps. Yet, it is often set upon a shelf and told to be quiet while we search to find the elusive Enough. "Dust off your heart, Dear One. Take your heart down from the shelf where it has been relegated as mere observer. Listen to it. If you hear fear, you mind is talking, not your heart! If you hear defeat, it is the mind engaged in conversation once again. If you hear sorrow, dismay, or regret - you guessed it, it is the mind speaking. The heart speaks of joy and hope and love and possibilities. The mind finds reasons why not, while the heart finds a way. "'I can't just up and follow my heart,' you say. 'I have work to do.' Ah, yes. Does your work fulfill your heart? Does your work bring you joy? If not, your heart will find a way to defeat you - no matter how strong your will! Perhaps you will obsess about something you cannot fix and become immobilized. Perhaps you will become ill. Perhaps you will cross paths with someone that brings you a life-lesson. (pleasant or not!) These things show you that your heart is not with you. You may have relegated your heart to the shelf, but it will throw itself at your feet and trip you up. "What is amazing, Dear One, is this. When the heart is honored and respected and appreciated, abundance comes to you. Not the heart of 'I-want-what-I-want-when-I-want-it,' but rather the heart of peace. Knowing that there is enough - that you are Enough. When that peace overtakes you, your work becomes stronger and more fulfilling. Even if temporarily your tasks merely put food on the table rather than joy in your heart. A joy finds its way to your heart when you know you are ENOUGH. "Allow us to assist you in finding enough. Allow us to come to you and bring to you that sense of enough. Perhaps it is only momentary, yet to experience it once brings the experience again and again. Soon the hurry is totally replaced with the peace of enough. So, be still, Dear One. Find your heart. As you find your heart, you will meet us there. We await your welcoming awareness. We are there now for you. Ah, yes. IT IS ENOUGH."
(This message was typed directly as it was received. Normally, I am in a deeper state of meditation, yet I needed to be aware enough to type, so they assisted in that process. As I read it through in a fully awakened state, I could feel the truth of what they are saying. I hope you can feel their presence as well.)
I had a dream a couple of nights ago of the Ancient Ones longing to speak to me and through me to you. The next day I had someone ask me when I was going to do another Ancient Ones session. The very next day, someone e-mailed me asking me about when I was going to do the Ancient Ones again. When things come to me in three's it means TAKE A LOOK! I'm scheduling Thursday, July 20th from 6:30pm to 9:00pm for an Ancient Ones group session at the Divine Fellowship building at 513 Barth Ave., Richland, WA. The cost - $25. In order to allow each person to receive a personal message, this group is limited, so reserve your place as soon as possible by giving me a call at (509) 946-8656 or e-mail me at janice@janicelynch.com
Healing: The Body-Mind-Heart-Spirit Connection
Healing: is it about the physical form getting well? Healing: is it about being in an appropriate state of mind? Healing: is it about correcting emotional traumas? Healing: is it miraculous intervention from the Spiritual Realms?
I believe healing requires healing on all four levels; the body, the mind, the heart (emotions) and spirit/Spirit. Without healing on all four levels, we can reinvent an illness. Illness is one way in which our heart may choose to teach us about ourselves. Illness is certainly uncomfortable and any of us would choose to do without ever being sick. Yet, illness has its value. Only when we are ill do we really look beyond duty, obligation, obsession and really look at ourselves.
Some believe that illness is the sign that someone is spiritually weak, or morally feeble. Untrue. Illness is a part of our physical journey. Once we can let go of good or bad, right or wrong, we can really begin to work on the issue of illness, health, and wellness.
There is a tiny, little profound book my brother turned me on to called The Power of Focusing, by Ann Weiser Cornell, Ph.D, MF Books. This little book offers a process by which we can communicate with the parts of us that hurt or are not functioning properly. Those body parts will tell us what's causing them to "act out" in a way that brings us discomfort and what they'd like us to do or think to make things better.
Her is Ann Weiser Cornell's process in a nutshell: I am sensing into my body. What wants my awareness now? I'm saying hello to what's here. I'm finding the best way to describe it. I'm checking back with my body to see if the description 'rings true' Is it okay to just be with this right now? I'm sitting with it, with interested curiosity. I'm sensing how it feels from its point of view. I'm asking if it has an emotional quality. I'm asking it, "What gets it so _______?" (Fill in the blank with the emotion or descriptive word.) I'm asking what it needs. I'm asking my body to show me how "all okay" would feel. I'm saying I'll be back. I'm thanking my body and the parts that have been speaking with me. I return to full awareness.
This process takes a bit of time but is well worth the effort. Asking "why?" acitvates the brain talking for the body part. The brain doesn't have the knowing - the Body does. Pain/discomfort/illness reflects the body's request for applied awareness. The question "Why?" begs judgement and criticism which us totally unhelpful when dealing with illness or pain. The mind/brain holds data and conclusions. This process asks the mind/brain element to avoid making judgments.
This process utilizes the physical, the emotional and asks the mental to give it a rest. In order to apply spiritual healing to this process, acknowledge, apply deep compassion, and allow. These three things give our bodies permission to speak to us. It creates a safe space or sacred space where our body parts aren't judged or condemned. This applies to external circumstances also. No one likes to share when they know they are going to be under a critical eye. The more we honor our physical beings, the more co-operative they become.
Once we have an understanding of the true issue of what is going on with the body, the mind can then sort through it's set of data to locate information that can assist in the healing process. If the body part needs some rest, the brain can then go into full functioning mode and search memories for places and situations in the past when the body truly rested. The brain then offers up choices for the heart to make. When we let the brain run things without checking into the body, the brain will pick out the "best" action based upon a possibly inaccurate set of parameters. The brain may tell the body that it isn't really tired. The body knows what it needs! Listening holds great value. Our body attempts to communicate with us through illness or pain. Illness is the body's way of saying, "We're due for a change." It is up to us to listen, so we can hear what the body is requesting, and then figure out how to change it.
There is another process I discovered called Symbolic Energetic Healing. This process utilizes the mind's ability to understand symbolism along with the intuitive sensing or seeing the physical illness in symbolic form. For example, I've seen a oxen yoke on a woman's shoulders when she was carrying a heavy emotional burden. When we identified the symbol and she recognized that she was carrying more than her share and it wasn't helpful to her or others, she was in a place to release it. With a deep breath, the symbolic object would be lifted off her body and out of her aura. Immediately the pain in her shoulder went away. A man had a spear in his side that manifested as a "stitch" everytime he tried to do anything strenuous. The spear in his side symbolized someone else criticizing his efforts. With the symbol and it's source identified, he took a deep breath and we "pulled" the spear out of his side. The pain went with it.
The value of Symbolic Energetic Healing is that it works on all four levels of awareness. The physical body - recognizing, honoring, identifying the pain; the emotional aspect - how the pain communicates readiness for an emotional shift; the mental body - bringing thought and awareness to an issue; and the spiritual body - the use of symbolism with is the language of Spirit.
There is no one way or only one right way to do a healing. What works is what works. Often healing requires a blending of modern medicine and complimentary healing methods. Often those healing methods require more than one kind of treatment. So when faced with physical pain and illness, use any and all methods available!
Ask yourself what the pain might be trying to tell you. Ask yourself what requires changing in your life. Ask yourself if you are eating right and getting adequate rest and getting some healthy activity that brings you joy. Ask yourself what your spirit requires to thrive. The simple act of bringing your awareness into a situation brings Spirit. The trick is to not obsess but rather be mindful and aware. Worry is a prayer in reverse and does nothing to bring wellness. Noticing patterns and sorrows brings awareness and the willingness to do things differently. Do things in a way that will support our inner being which supports our physical form.
Even though we may need to set aside our thinking brain in order to access body information, the mind is a powerful tool for healing. The mind affirms what our heart knows. The mind analyzes data and gives us feedback. The mind offers choices and options. Use the mind in its true purposes - sorting data and drawing conclusions.
As you are bringing your mindset into alignment with the body and with the emotions and with spiritual truth, you may wish to visualize wellness and/or read affirmations to assist your mindset. The key to affirmations is the ring-true. If you don't believe them, the body sets up a resistance and they are rendered ineffective. However, if one can find statements that ring-true (feel right) then the affirmations become active and powerful. Here are some affirmations that you may find effective. Whether you are ill or not, say these every day for one month and your world will change. Those things that are not serving your good health or your inner being will stand out and be easily eliminated. Those things that support and serve you will be activated and reinforced.
I am safe in the mystery of life. My body heals itself. I am now healing. Every cell of my body is being renewed. All the resources of my being are focused on what is good. Love flows to me and around me creating my healing. I activate the healing power of laughter. The forces of nature support me. I journey with hope, trust and positive anticipation. As I heal myself, I nourish my creativity. I am vibrant and alive. I claim an abundance of joy, success, and health as is my God-given right. I am willing to let go of fear and trust the process of life. Truth protects me, forgiveness heals me. I have the perfect health care for my current state. My body is in harmony with my higher purpose. I am grateful for this experience and the healing it brings to all levels of my existence. I claim (reclaim) my sacredness. I easily regain my sense of wonder. I draw fresh inspiration from life. I create peace, order, and brilliance in my life. I easily adapt to any necessary changes. I am always in a state of grace. I am awakened to the power and joy of being fully alive. I live, love, learn, and grow. I rethink my intention and reshape my future. I unlock Divine inspiritation. I am the architect of my happiness and health. I withdraw to recharge and emerge to shine. I am receptive to new avenues of expression. I make peace with myself. My heart is light and free. My territory is sacred. I have clear boundaries. My life is filled with laughter and infinite wisdom. I release any illusions and deepen my understanding. My passion for living is constantly renewed. My life is part of a greater plan. It is safe for me to change and develop. Like a flower, I grow towards the Light.

You Canno' Have My Freedom (Reprint - Article first printed in the Divine Fellowship monthly newsletter then featured in the Tri-City Herald newspaper for its religious section.)
It happens to the best of us. Awake at odd hours of the night with our minds running full speed ahead. WE aren't really making any progress. We're covering old ground, or repeatedly thinking about something we have no control over, or we replay an event attempting to understand it or wishing we'd handled it differently. Logically, we know that our bodies require sleep, and it would be good for us to relax and get that much needed rest. Instead we hop down the mental bunny trails without any real hope of catching anything much less a few zzzz's.
So it is with other things. We know exercise brings the blood sugar down, but we don't get off the couch. We know regrouping with the group beats depression, but we isolate. We know paying our bills makes us feel good, but we blow money on impusle items which puts our serenity at risk and our creditors at our backs. We know we can't be responsible for any one else's happiness, but we go right on giving in.
Why would any normal, rational person do those things to themselves? Because we can. Because we want to. Because our inner brat (I want WHAT I want WHEN I want it) is beating up our inner child (innocence, wonder, awe, joyful expectation.) We feel that by controlling life's circumstances that we are exerting our free will when in fact we are keeping ourselves enslaved. When we tell ourselves, "I can't help it!" We have just taken away choice and free will. "I just can't relax!" Locked thinking - no choice. "I couldn't help it, I had to buy it!" Locked action - no choice. "I had to eat it, the devil made me do it!" Locked power beliefs - no choice.
We will fight to the death to protect our right to freedom and then enslave ourselves in an instant. We defend our right to choice in ways that take away our choice. We confuse our "will" with our "willingness." Our "will" feeds the inner brat. Our "willingness" frees the inner child. We perceive that the "will" makes us strong and free and able to choose and able to make things happen. You know the old saying, "Where there's a will there's a way." Yet "willingness" allows us to tap into a resource greater than ourselves alone . . . a universal resource . . . The Source.
Ahhhhh, there's the rub! Surrender to God. We've heard religion ask that of us and we are resistant to becoming a spiritual zombie. That's a good thing! Being a spiritual zombie also takes away choice! At the same time surrender isn't asking us to mindlessly follow some religious pattern. Some religious people do that, it's true. Truth is, surrender asks us to set aside the inner brat and become willing. Willing to let Spirit assist. Willing to let the journey unfold. Willing to experience life without judgement on ourselves or others. (That's compassion by the way.) Willing to put things in perspective. Willing to become spiritually innocent filled with wonder, awe, and joyful expectation. We resist because we feel we have a right to, and must, exerting our own free will. Yet it is our own free will that enslaves us because it isn't our own free will we exert, it is our own free brat. There is a price to pay for following that!
True free will, willingness, activates the power of choice. We resist choice because on the other side of choice, there is accountability. It is so much sweeter to say, "I had to," than choose something that may conflict with our people pleasing habits, or our inner programming of self-sabotage, or our deep feelings of unworthiness. To become willing to follow our dreams may cause people in our life to become uncomfortable - our lives might not look like they think our lives should look. To become willing to follow our intuition and our heart could challenge our inner programming that sabotages our efforts. I've read that the word sabotage comes from the French word for shoe. Before factory workers were treated with basic human rights, they worked 14 hour shifts without breaks. (Sounds familiar to some of us now!!) When they just couldn't keep going, one of the workers would throw a shoe into the inner workings of the machinery and things would grind to a halt. It took time to extract the shoe and get the machinery working again so the workers got a bit of a rest.
When we sabotage ourselves, it is because something within ourselves cannot keep going any longer. We can sabotage ourselves when we don't feel worthy of success or when our hearts want a direction other than what our mind has chosen for us. We gain something with a sabotage. It could be of value to discover the payoff of sabotage. We could discover whether we are in an unworthy mind set or whether we are pursuing something that our hearts are just no longer willing to do. Deep feelings of unworthiness keep us safe from trying new things or leaving old restrictive friendships or breaking free from other's limiting opinions or expectations of us. We risk losing our deep feelings of unworthiness when we activate the Power of the Universe through our willingness.
Becoming willing sets us free while creating within us new life and new energy. Willingness insists that we are worth Divine effort and Divine intervention and Divine guidance. Willingness insists that our actions account for something, and our hopes and dreams are attainable. Willingness means that we have choice, power, and accountability in our lives.
It's only when we're ready to run the white flag up the pole that we are ready to become willing. Not that we surrender our true self, rather that we surrender the chaos and fear that comes with surrendering to the inner brat. When we take our lives back and allow ourselves to become willing, miracles happen. What miracles have you experienced by being willing? What miracles are you ready to embrace? Every day we are at a point of choice. Continue to be victimized by the self-indulgent, tyrannical inner brat, or find spiritual freedom, innocence, and joy by finding spiritual willingness.
Those who live a spiritual life can get off course. Do a reality check. If that reality check just bounced, it might be time to refresh willingness. Don't feel you can get there? The cool thing about willingness is that we can pray for willingness and it is bestowed upon us as a Divine gift! Caution! Willingness can change everything! Pursue that course only if you are ready and willing for a miraculous, joyfilled life!
Attachments, Entities, and Energetic Clutter
There's some talk around about having "an attachment" or an "entity" - what does that mean?
In general terms, an entity is any being that is energy. We commonly use the term 'entity' to identify an energy being from another plane of existance. Personally, the word entity creeps me out. If it's a spirit guide, let's call it a spirit guide. If it's an angel, let's call it an angel. If it's a being from another dimension let's call it that. If it's an old thought form that is hanging around causing us distress, let's call it a thought form. If it is someone that hasn't cross over, let's say so. Be specific. The term entity is a bit disconcerting to most of us.
Years ago, I had someone do a "healing" on me and he said he removed several entities from me. Well, who were they? Why were they there? Where did they go? What did they want? What did I do to deserve them? Inquiring minds want to know.
I believe enti.....beings from another plane of existance come here for a reason. I had a client in my office the other day who was asking about an entity (shiver) some one had just removed from her. No big deal except she also wanted to know what she had done to deserve it. What I got for her was this . . . the being was there because it hadn't crossed over yet. It was still trying to get past its own guilt and trauma of its life. It had experienced the same kinds of difficulties my client had been facing. It had attached itself to her so that it could watch and learn. The person in my office wasn't bad and therefore got an entity like you get a bad disease from being at the wrong place at the wrong time. In fact, the being was there because my client was doing things better than this person had in his or her life. Unfortunately, these beings would rather watch us live our lives than "move on" to their true destination. It's like they are watching reality TV so they don't have to live.
This doesn't mean they don't influence us. They do! They have the same fears that they had in life. The same things make them angry and the same things make them sad. They attach themselves to our energy field. When we experience things that trigger their emotions, they download their emotions into our energy field and we pick up on what they are feeling. If we are unaware, we can over react to things that normally don't normally upset us. We can say things we don't normally say or act out in ways that don't serve us.
This doesn't mean we have an excuse for our behavior! We are the ones living our lives. We have full accountability. The old phrase, "The devil made me do it!" doesn't apply here. One person I know has a teen who is acting out. Several months ago, the teen had several entities removed from him. He hadn't changed his attitude or his thought patterns so he's got some more entities attached. This is not a 'poor baby' here. He is still accountable for his behavior and his attitude and his thought patterns. It is our thought patterns that create energetic clutter to which entities can attach themselves.
Some entities are attracted to people who are filled with light and doing the deal the best they can. They attach themselves so they can learn. (It would be better for them to go to the Light where they can receive their healing and the information they crave.) Some entities are attracted to the energetic clutter of distorted thought patterns and defiance because it is familiar to them. Other entities are attracted to strong emotions like fear or anger or resentment. A few entities are attracted to those they can intimidate so they can attempt to feed on their victim's fear.
Yikes! What if I have an attachment! Ick! Get it off!
Take a deep breath. Ask Spirit and the angels to come to you. They probably are already there!!! If you have an entity (shiver) you have angels to counteract their effect! Spirit will never leave you to deal with these things alone. Speak to the attached beings and tell them that they belong in the Light, not with you. They can choose to go or not to go, but they do no longer have your permission to stay with you. Wish them well. Wish them a safe journey, but firmly command that they depart from your presence and leave permanently. Even the stubborn ones must obey your request to leave. Remember, they respond to your attitude and belief system. It may be time to change a belief system. If one feels like others victimize them and they are helpless, that helplessness creates an energetic clutter that may draw another entity. It may be time to take the attitude of helplessness head on and really look at it. Some really tough things happen to people at the hands of those they once trusted. Yet, that does not condemn anyone to an entire life of helplessness or victimization.
(Side Note: I was one of the biggest victims around! Something was always happening to me. No one ever helped me. People always took advantage of me. People always hurt my feelings. It was always someone else's fault that I was unhappy. The first step in the long journey toward happiness and a fulfilling life was to discover that I had a part in every little event that played out in my life. Certainly, some crummy stuff happening was out of my control. Yet, I was in control of my attitudes and thoughts and responses. Once I brought my responses in line with a life of personal accountability, magically things just stopped happening to me. Once in a while I still get something hit out of the blue and I have to stop and think, "Okay, what is my part in this." Once I find my part, I can move through the situation. It still may be uncomfortable, but it's no longer debilitating. It is easier to make my sorrows and problems everyone else's fault. It is not healthier, nor is it satisfying to do so. I no longer have the luxury of shame and blame. It takes too much energy and is counter productive to a full, happy life. It's a long road to self confidence and personal power, but if I can do it, anyone can.

You are responsible for other's behaviors 11. You are bad, evil, immoral, to blame (guilty) 12. You are incompetent. I used to believe all of these things and it kept me a victim. Here are 12 NEW thought patterns that I entertain from time to time: 1. Think and act sponeaneously rather than from fear that is based on past experiences 2. Explore an unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment. 3. Completely loose interest in judging other people 4. Completely loose interest in judging self 5. Forget to interpret the actions of others 6. Rather than avoiding conflict, move through it by knowing my truth (it still may be uncomfortable, but it's worth it!) 7. Completely loose interest in worrying (worry is a prayer in reverse!) 8. Incur frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation 9. Acknowledge and enjoy a connectedness with others and nature 10. Smile through the eyes from the heart 11. Allow things to happen rather than make them happen. 12. Become susceptible to Love extended by others as well as experience the uncontrollable urge to extend it. Practice these things and there's not much for those little buggers to hang on to!)
So let's get rid of those buggers! Take a deep breath. Brush your arms off and shake the energy out. Take a deep breath. Brush your hands across your heart-space and shake the energy off. Continue to do deep breathing. Brush your shoulders and head lightly and shake the energy off. With the palms out, brush downward across your back. Brush you legs and feet and shake the energy off. Ask Spirit to assist in removing any being that may be attached to you. You may wish for Archangel Michael, to cut any attaching cords or strands of energy from your body and energy filed. These strands of energy are like the string on a balloon. Without its string the balloon just floats away. Keep taking deep cleansing breaths. Imagine that you are bathed in white light. Imagine that your energy field is clear and bright. Now imagine that you have an electrical charge to the outside edge of your energy field - like a psychic bug zapper! Anything that is not from the Light gets close and bzzt! Their gone!
Now it is our responsibility to keep clear. As beings of Light, we may still attract things. Whether those beings are ready to go to THE Light or not, they are still attracted to Light in any form. It is the nature of spirit to return to the Light. So, stay aware. When going through struggles, it is wise to bring awareness to the shields that surround us. Make sure the psychic zapper is active and functioning. Ask for Spirit protection. It is freely offered and freely given at the asking.
Know that when we watch the news and get petrified, we are vulnerable to beings settling in and hanging strings on our energetic clutter. When we become embroiled in the dramas at work, we are vulnerable. When we harbor resentment, we are vulnerable. When we claim defeat, we are vulnerable. New tools may be required to cope with the circumstances that crop up in our daily lives. Rolling over and playing dead is not an option to one on a spiritual path. Harboring hatred and resentment and self-pity are not an option to one on a sacred journey. Ask for help. Ask for new awarenesses. Ask for new tools. Ask for wisdom. Above all, ask for Spirit to walk with you. The help that comes is unbelievably wonderful. Even if you don't have a clue as to how things could get better or work out, know that help is there and things are being done in the spirit world in your behalf.
We do our part - get clean, stay clean, stay in kindness, stay aware. Spirit does Spirit's part - protecting, nurturing, guiding, bringing about change in the spirit world. Sometimes we get stuck and can't seem to find our way through the muck. The future is fluid. Based upon today's awareness and today's choices, the future unfolds. Being aware takes tools. Communicating what your really feel in a powerful and safe way takes tools. Knowing one's own truth takes tools. Speaking one's truth with loving intent takes tools. I've been blessed with making a lot of mistakes and then figuring out how to do it differently. I've been blessed with some major betrayals and hardships and have had to move on. In the process, I've asked for guidance and have been receptive to it. Spirit has responded to my prayers and given me tools to a fill a toolbox with more tools arriving daily! I share well with others. janice@janicelynch.com
